I Didn't Stand a Chance✧

Tiny kitten plus yellow and pink dress plus hardwood floor plus those big eyes looking up at me — I didn’t stand a chance. My heart basically evaporated on the spot.

She looked like a little flower that sprouted right there on the living room floor. The dress was slightly too big, which somehow made the whole thing even more adorable. She took exactly three steps, sat down, and gave me this look that said “okay, you may now give me everything I want.” Done. Consider it done.
