Tucked into the pink bedding with a hair clip on her head — don’t ask, it just happened — she looked up and I managed to capture those huge green eyes in the soft light. Tiny face, enormous eyes, and I genuinely cannot handle it.

She stayed perfectly still for this shot, which almost never happens. I think she was too cozy to move. The pink bedding frames her grey fur perfectly and those sparkling eyes are doing about ninety percent of the emotional damage here.
